Buried in Snow
After Wednesday’s snow-no-show, we have been hit by several snowfalls so we started winter vacation three days early. After last night’s snowstorm, we are pretty much snowed in. This is one of the heaviest snow falls I have ever seen in Seattle, with snow drifts piling up against the house. We were also surprised this morning that the snow had a solid top layer of ice.
Here are some pictures from the last several days, including more of Hurley frolicking in the now dog-knee-deep snow. It is snowing again as I write this. Looks like it will be a White Christmas.
- A festive photo for the holidays!
- Another view of snow on our Holly tree.
- I like the look of the white snow on the green bamboo.
- Hurley sitting on the couch looking out the front window.
- Hurley actually layed in the snow to chew this stick we were using for fetch.
- You can really see how deep it is by looking at the glass table.
- The snow builds up deep on my deck.
- This is a piece of the top layer of snow.
- Hurley had to jump to get through the knee-deep snow.
- Hurley managed to get through the gate as I tried to take this picture.
- Check out the snow piled up on the arm rests.
- Hurley remembered there was cat poop under this bush.
